Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

1. Be stationed at customer production sites or travel frequently, track the application of the company’s dispersant products in lithium battery cathode coating processes throughout the whole cycle, and identify and resolve on-site process abnormalities and technical issues in a timely manner.

2. For complex technical problems that cannot be resolved independently on site, systematically collect process data, slurry conditions, coating parameters and other information, compile structured analysis reports, feed back to the company’s R&D center promptly, and organize internal technical consultations.

3. Collaborate with the R&D center to formulate lab test verification plans, carry out pilot or mass verification of lab-scale achievements at customer sites, follow up the entire verification process until issues are fully resolved, and deliver complete application technical reports.

4. Conduct daily Korean communication with technical and quality personnel of Korean customers, participate in technical meetings, translate and organize Korean technical documents, emails and test reports to ensure accurate and efficient exchange of technical information between China and Korea.

5. Record and organize on-site customer application parameters, common fault databases and corresponding solutions, providing first-line data support for technical accumulation and product iteration of the Product Line Management Department.

6. Complete other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.

Job Qualifications

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Polymer Materials, Electrochemistry, Fine Chemistry or related disciplines.

2. 3–5 years of working experience related to lithium battery cathode slurry or coating processes; familiar with the action mechanism of dispersants in slurry systems and the adjustment of application parameters.

3. Strong independent on-site judgment and logical analysis capabilities, good at tracing root causes of problems based on data; proficient in practical operations, able to accept long-term or frequent business trips to customer sites.

4. Able to use Korean proficiently as a working language.

5. Good communication skills and teamwork spirit, meticulous, highly responsible, and able to adapt to a fast-paced working environment.

Job Description

1. Responsible for the design, synthesis and industrial application development of functional polymer additives for lithium batteries (such as acrylate/phosphate esters, viscosity stabilizers, etc.).

2. Assist the product manager in promoting product development in accordance with the end-to-end IPD process to ensure efficient project delivery.

3. Provide comprehensive polymer-based solutions for new chemical systems (such as high-voltage and silicon anode systems), and complete relevant evaluation, verification and application promotion.

4. Connect with suppliers and lead material performance verification and technology introduction.

Job Qualifications

Job Requirements:

1. Fresh PhD graduate, major in Polymer Materials, Polymer Chemistry and Physics, Materials Science or other chemistry-related disciplines.

2. Solid expertise in polymers, in-depth understanding of structure-activity relationships; familiar with synthetic processes of acrylic and polyurethane technical routes including free radical polymerization, esterification and addition reactions.

3. Capable of independently undertaking R&D projects, conducting formulation and molecular structure design according to customer requirements, and investigating the structure-activity relationship between molecular structure and electrical properties.

4. Experience in R&D of functional polymer additives for lithium batteries; candidates with experience in the following fields are preferred:

• Solving processing performance issues of lithium battery cathode slurry via small molecules such as viscosity stabilizers;

• Capability in developing acrylate/phosphate polymers;

• Experience in electrolyte additive development.

5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, clear logical thinking and outstanding execution capability.

6. In-depth understanding of IATF 16949 quality system requirements, proficient in quality tools including APQP and FMEA; solid practical experience and thorough knowledge of end-to-end IPD processes.
