SUNRISE POLYMER MATERIAL (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. was established in November 2017 as a subsidiary of Sunrise Advanced Materials Co., Ltd. The lithium battery additive plant is located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, within 30 kilometers of Port Klang, Malaysia’s largest seaport. It is committed to supplying high-performance and highly stable functional additive materials to overseas battery customers. Phase I of the plant was officially put into operation in 2025.

Supporting Supply Chain for Overseas Lithium Battery Additives
To establish an overseas supply chain system for lithium battery functional additive materials and satisfy cell manufacturers’ overseas procurement requirements, the company invested in constructing a lithium battery additive production base at the end of 2024. Phase I of the base was officially commissioned and started mass production of lithium battery functional additives in 2025.
