Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the design, synthesis and industrial application development of functional polymer additives for lithium batteries (such as acrylate/phosphate esters, viscosity stabilizers, etc.).
2. Assist the product manager in promoting product development in accordance with the end-to-end IPD process to ensure efficient project delivery.
3. Provide comprehensive polymer-based solutions for new chemical systems (such as high-voltage and silicon anode systems), and complete relevant evaluation, verification and application promotion.
4. Connect with suppliers and lead material performance verification and technology introduction.
Job Qualifications
Job Requirements:
1. Fresh PhD graduate, major in Polymer Materials, Polymer Chemistry and Physics, Materials Science or other chemistry-related disciplines.
2. Solid expertise in polymers, in-depth understanding of structure-activity relationships; familiar with synthetic processes of acrylic and polyurethane technical routes including free radical polymerization, esterification and addition reactions.
3. Capable of independently undertaking R&D projects, conducting formulation and molecular structure design according to customer requirements, and investigating the structure-activity relationship between molecular structure and electrical properties.
4. Experience in R&D of functional polymer additives for lithium batteries; candidates with experience in the following fields are preferred:
Solving processing performance issues of lithium battery cathode slurry via small molecules such as viscosity stabilizers;
Capability in developing acrylate/phosphate polymers;
Experience in electrolyte additive development.
5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, clear logical thinking and outstanding execution capability.
6. In-depth understanding of IATF 16949 quality system requirements, proficient in quality tools including APQP and FMEA; solid practical experience and thorough knowledge of end-to-end IPD processes.
